Better than I expected

I've gone to Heat a couple of times in the past month and have been pleasantly surprised by what I found. It's pretty typical for a SE Portland dive strip club, but the dancers are much more attractive than you usually find in a dive.

A friend suggested we meet at Heat because he has the hots for one of the girls who works there. I agreed, but was not expecting much. The last time I went to this club, a couple of years ago, the dancers were all some combination of fat, stinky, or otherwise unattractive. I also had the feeling (back then) that I needed to stay on my toes to avoid getting stabbed.

This time, the physical plant had not changed but the atmosphere certainly had. The crowd was mellow and nearly all of the dancers were reasonably hot, though there were one or two fatties. Security scans your ID at the door. Drinks are reasonably priced and properly poured. Dances are $25 a song and nude. The dance area is only semi-private and a camera watches you. I was told that the cameras are monitored, but the girl I took back was more than willing to help work around that little problem.
