Great for mornings

This review and my other reviews of Shimmers ONLY cover the afternoon and late morning time period. I have no idea what this place is like on a Friday or Saturday night.

I've pretty much given up on other clubs before about 1pm or 2pm in the afternoon with one exception. This and Scarlett are the only clubs I'm aware of that open early with dancers (around 9am). Both are pretty good. Other clubs, even if they say they have dancers at 11 or noon, don'[t really have dancers (plural) on stage much in the first hour or more. Dancers come in late and take forever to get ready.

The vibe at Shimmers is quite calm and laid back. Frequently there will be zero or one patron at the stage. Of course, you'll get a lot of attention if you're the only one there. Most dancers in the morning/afternoon don't really approach the customers much so you might have to take the initiative to at least smile or wave.
