Sunday

One of my regulars said I should try Sunday, because unlike Fri and Sat nights, Sunday is more like a weekday afternoon as far as being more laid back in general. So for the first time in my life, I tried a Sun night visit. She was right! It was actually a little busier than afternoons, but lots of dancers came up to me to chat and spent a while with me even though I was "saving" myself for my CF. There were also more women of color than the afternoon shifts seem to have which is a plus for me as like variety.

My continuing gripe about afternoon is there are a lot of "trainees" and too many are pretty frumpy, but that was not the case last night. The quality of dancer was up there with any night you might want to come. So the fact they weren't just doing the "wanna dance" thing was a bonus. One thing I really like about HB is the quality of the wait staff. They can be chatty with customers so some complain they are slow to take orders but I don't have a problem. A few are even better looking than the dancers; Anna behind the bar was outstanding and very willing to chat when she wasn't busy.

I'm sure I'll come Sundays more often, although waking up Monday morning is a definite downside.
