Must be a local thing...

I was in Portland on business, and drove by Mary's on my way to the hotel. I noted the location, and headed over there after I checked in.

I walked in, and the first thing that hit me was the small size of the place. There's a bar, a few tables, and a small place for the dancers. The bar was full, with most of the guys not really paying attention to the dancers, and the dancers not really paying attention to anyone else. I really got the feeling that this place is kind of a local dive for Portlanders, whether they are patrons or dancers. I think I saw some of the dancers getting tips, especially when they came around after their time 'on stage.'

Again, it was interesting, some place that you might go to as a tourist destination and have a drink, but not a place to go for a real strip club experience.
