Wasted Trip

Another 2 month overdue review. Guilty as charged.

A wet and miserable Saturday afternoon found me looking to GTFOff the road for a few minutes. I remembered that I owed this spot another chance so I took my life into my hands and paddled my car down the road to Dixie's. It must have been about 1530 when I pulled into the parking lot. The number of vehicles was encouraging if only slightly. No cover, as I recall. I sat at the bar and ordered a Coke. I think it was about $3 with tip. The barmaid was pleasant enough. I saw two or three other patrons, no dancers on stage, and one dancer (definitely not my type) just as she took a patron to a private dance area near the bar. I didn't know that one even existed.

Asked the barmaid how many other dancers were on shift.

"I don't think there are any more coming in until later."
