Nice Club, Attractive Dancers, but not a lot of value for the money
Deja Vu has moved at some point in the last year or two, and this was my first time at their new location. The club itself is very nice- one of the girls gave me a tour. There are two split-level floors when you enter, the 3-4 VIP rooms are on the third floor, and there is a rooftop deck for some kind of rooftop stuff they do from time to time.
When I entered, there were 4 or 5 girls there, a few at the bar and around the room, and one on stage. I started talking to a leggy blonde at the bar, and she sat with me. After a few minutes of smalltalk, she inquired about dances. I told her that the last time I was there I paid for a lap dance and was disappointed by the lack of contact. She said that legally she couldn't promise any more than that, but she didn't think I would be disappointed. She convinced me to take her for a 2 for $30 special. I was disappointed. There was some contact, but I had to keep my hands to my sides, she remained fully clothed, and the contact was entirely one way. The first "song" was only a minute or so long, so my two-for special was kind of a bust. After the entirely too-short lap dance, she asked me what I was going to tip her. I had paid up front, and I didn't really want to tip for that disappointing dance, but I was enjoying her company and I felt like I could afford to give her a few bucks if it would keep her around. When we sat back down, she immediately asked if I would buy her a drink. Again, it was only a few bucks, and not a high price to pay to keep her around. Annoyingly, as soon as I bought her a drink, she excused herself and went to the bar to hang out with the other dancers. I don't mind tipping or whatever, but there is at least some expectation that they will hang around, especially if there isn't much else happening in the club- which there wasn't.
I sat next to the stage and tipped the girls as they did their rotation, but strangely the girls wouldn't even acknowledge me at the end of their set. And if they did approach, it was only to ask if I wanted a dance, and when I would decline they would go immediately back to the bar, or even just to sit by themselves and play with their phones. Be advised, the hustle from the girls here is pretty high, and the value seems pretty low, especially since they put zero effort into having a conversation. The girl who gave me the tour implied that more fun could be had in the VIP, but at $400/hr or whatever, I'm not likely to ever find out. And I'm not sure who would ever pay that, especially since the lap dances don't impress. I don't mind playing the game, but I don't want to feel like I'm getting played. And that is how I felt. After the first annoying encounter, I turned everyone else down and just tipped at the stage. Since the stage show is fully nude, I felt like the stage show is really the best value in the place. Unfortunately, even this is a small letdown, since there is a three foot barrier and you can't interact with the girls on stage at all.
