Friday night, we were dragged to the Airport district to inspect the talent in the NW of the city... Upon entry was berated by the doorman to "Go over there...Check you coat!"... This was an omen but I chose to disregard the bad vibe I got... Maybe the dude was having a bad night... Maybe he is just a poertripping juicehead... Didnt care to discuss this with him... He sat us and then stood by, I assume waiting for a tip... OOPS, Did I mention that he barked at us to check our coats.. lol... No tip... Service was prompt and friendly... Drinks a little pricey but considering the decor of the bar and the reasonable quality of the dancers this is to be expected... Got talked into a dance with a lithesome brunette from one of the Eastern block countries... Robotic at best... After she finished the frist dong I said Thank You... She gave me the strangest look and said she has never in her life had somebody only get 1 song from her. I said that she cant say that any longer because it just happened.. I paid her and went back to my table to find my friend enrapped in conversation with a blonde who seemed to have a brain... They disappeared for a few songs and he came back not looking too happy... He told me she insisted after a couple of songs that he needed to take her into a booth for at least an hour or else she would be in trouble with her manager... She also told him she needed him to buy Chips not pay her cash... Again so she wouldnt get in trouble with the manager... I understand there is a 10% service charge on chip purchases... Nice girls, nice room but oppressive policies... If you dont have an expense account and are just looking to have a little fun, I would recommend taking a pass n this bar and checking out some of the others in the area.
