Wednesday evening

I was in town on business last week, and so decided to stop by the famous House (formerly the Penthouse, DC's only family-owned strip club) after being away for a number of years. It has certainly become a bit more upscale - the last time I was there it was still under construction/renovation, and the upstairs was free. Now it costs $20 to go upstairs, and $20 per dance after that - which I decided not to partake in due to my budget.

But I spent a couple of hours on the main floor with the dancers, who are as beautiful as ever. There were only a few patrons this evening (Wednesday night), and plenty of dancers, though some of the hottest ones started packing up and leaving after midnight. Dollars on the main floor went a long way, though nothing approaching the realm of illegality. Cover was $10 (more if you wanted a bottle of Ciroc), I got a water for $8, and then I just tipped the rest of the night.

There were dancers for every preference - thin, thick, and in between. I had a good time - brought back old memories (only one of the dancers I remember from years past, Juicy, was still there). I will go back the next time I am in town.
