Good club and dealing with Mark the hustler

First of all I will say I love this place other than the location which is in the middle of a residential neighborhood and without a GPS you will never find it. The building is nothing fancy, just a plain block building painted white with a neon sign on the front. Outside parking lot looks sketchy, but I have a pretty nice ride (new SUV) and nobody has ever touched it. Many times it will look closed or ready to close because of only a few cars in the parking lot, but it has always been open the hours listed.

Inside it is a big club for the number of people that seem to go there and the number of dancers usually working. I mainly go during the week once a month or so, maybe it gets packed on the weekends, not sure. Usually during the week there are 3-5 regulars drinking with girls at the bar, 5-10 girls doing their rotation on the stage and that is about it. Some commenters have said the bathrooms are dirty or the couches are worn etc. I don't think this is any dingier (doesn't smell, furniture clean but worn, bathrooms clean but worn) than your average club in Columbus. Not the highest end in Columbus, but not a dump either. This isn't a shiny high dollar club in Miami, NYC or Vegas if that is what you are looking for.

As many reviews have indicated, Mark is a floor manager who hustles the girls and can be a pain bugging you although he is always friendly and if you tell him you aren't interested in his help, he will leave you alone. I think his job is to encourage non regular customers who are just sitting around drinking and not tipping to buy a private dance so the he and the girls can make some money. He gets a cut of whatever you pay for the dance, but many times that girl would not be dancing without him setting them up which I guess that's a fair trade. Ideally for the girl you chat one up without his help and she gets a max payout. Don't work with Mark if you have already chatted up a girl you want a dance with as she will have to give him a cut. If you work with Mark, he definitely has his favorites. Some girls absolutely hate him and he doesn't hook them up with any dances and other girls tolerate/are friends with him and he gets dances for them for a cut of the fee. I will say though, Mark will take care of you in some ways. He can make you deals, especially if you are getting an hour with a girl where you can get a better rate and free drinks for you and the girl if you tip him a bit $20/$40 or so on the side. If he gets you a girl, when you go in the VIP with the girl Mark sets you up with (Curtained off private couch with a table) tell her you know he takes a cut and will tip her extra, which I do and it definitely helps start your dance on the right note. If it is a slow night and you pay for a 30 minutes ($150 I think) or hour ($300 I think), Mark will make sure you get extra time and that nobody checks in on you to interrupt your time with the girl and will give you and the girl a free drink or two. Bang for the buck you usually get more (time, free drinks, privacy etc.) working with Mark, but make sure you tip the girl extra because he is getting a cut of her fee. Note there is a camera in every dance area, but I don't think they pay much attention to them. I have never had a bouncer come by and say stop touching the dancer or anything like that. I have had that happen in other clubs. One other thing with Mark. Say you are not sure on which girl(s) you want a dance from. He can make you a deal where he will give you 2 for 1 with 3 different girls so you can get a chance to try out several to see which one you click with. This is a good way to use Mark's services, especially if you are new to the club. If none of them work out you aren't under any obligation to get more dances with any of them. If I find a girl I haven't danced with yet, I will typically get one song to see how it goes and then do VIP from there if it seems like it will be worth my time or sometimes I have Mark set me up with the three 2 for 1 girls to see who clicks.
