I've posted reviews about this club several times, and have had relatively good experiences as can be read in the reviews. This last time at HL was different - not bad, but frustrating. My last review here was about a dancer who was kind of dorky, but in a cute and sexy kind of way. I'd post her name, but since its been a couple weeks since this last visit on a Sunday, I've forgot it. So to the story. I arrived at HL on a Sunday afternoon and the place was about 1/2 full with a good selection of dancers. I sat at the bar on the right as you enter the club to let me eyes adjust to the low lighting.

HL has a floor section - the bulk of the club - with tables all facing the main stage (there is only one stage in the club). There is a section of chairs with small tables up against the wall on the left side of the club as you enter. The way floor dances work is $10 for the main floor and $15 (or $20, depending which dancer you talk to - the real price is $15) for dances against the wall.

The line from dancers is that you'll get a better dance (ie more mileage) against the wall. I've never found that to be true. Just get a floor dance or 2 (or 20) for $10 and see if you like the dancer. But I digress...I'm at the bar on this hot, sunny Sunday so my eyes can adjust and hadn't even ordered a drink yet and the dancer from my previous time came to the bar and sat next to me. Now I'd like to say she remembered me and was enamored with me so much that she darted from the dressing room to sit next to me when she saw me come in. But in reality, she didn't even know I was there. She sat down to scope out the place.
