Last weekend, I decided to check out Sonny’s. I was curious to visit after hearing about their recent remodel. Here’s my take on the experience, from the vibe to the dancers and, of course, the two lap dances that made my night.Atmosphere

Walking into Sonny’s around 8 PM on a Saturday, the place had a lively but not overwhelming buzz. The club’s been around for nearly 40 years, but the recent remodel (finished around January 2023) gives it a fresh, modern feel. The lighting is dim, with neon accents and a central stage where dancers were putting on a great show. The music was pumping—mostly hip-hop and pop—and the DJ kept the energy high. It’s not a Vegas mega-club, but it’s got a welcoming, slightly gritty charm that I found appealing. The crowd was a mix of locals and some out-of-towners, and the place felt busy without being packed. My only gripe was the $10 cover charge, which felt a bit steep for Chandler, but it didn’t ruin the mood.

The dancers at Sonny’s were a highlight. They’ve got a diverse lineup—tall, short, blonde, brunette, you name it—and I was impressed by the talent. I ended up chatting with a dancer named Aria, who was stunning, charismatic, and genuinely fun to talk to. She had this confident energy that made me feel at ease right away. Another dancer, Kitty, also caught my eye with her killer moves on stage. The vibe was friendly, and the dancers weren’t pushy, which I appreciated. It’s a topless club (Arizona’s rules since they serve alcohol), but the performances were high-energy and kept me glued to the stage.
