Gold got brighter as night went on.
My visit to the Gold club in Memphis was like a roller coaster. Up and down, no side to side. As my wife and I pulled up to the club I had high hopes for this place. Great looking building, stunning exterior, changing colored lights and a Greek temple motif. The interior is aces. Larges spaciuos environment, nice carpet, chairs, tables. I was thrilled. Over the past few years I have been in far to many shit holes. The main stage is huge, with two additional stages. The primary dancer will get off the main then circulate through the two smaller, that is when it is busy. When my wife and I arrived it was not busy so the main stage was all that was open.
The cover was average. Ten bucks with a two drink minimum. No problem there I typically have half a dozen or so. One sad part was the bar had no liquor. Juice and beer that was it. I can't fault the club I guess it is a state law. They did say I could bring my own liquor but I never drive around with liquor in the car nor would I drink a bottle in one night. If I am going to drink like that I stay home.
Anyway we arrived about nine and there was only a few girls. After about an hour I was not impressed. Not one girl was worth a crap on stage and not one had said thank you when I gave them a tip on stage. Not one had sat down to talk. After about two hours a manager walked by asked how we were and I informed him of the time we had spent sitting alone. He propyl sent someone over. This was a good and bad thing. I do not want anyone sitting down if they are forced to. The dancer who sat down exsplained many dancers do not sit with couples, exspecially couples who have a woman like my wife. I like to drag, she is hot, and thinks most strippers are either fat or ugly. She is more critical than me and I can be picky.
