I went in expecting the worse, and damn near got the best.

At this point I've checked out all of the major clubs down here except for one big exception: Scarletts. I haven't checked Scarletts because the rep I heard for it was: it was a low mileage club; it tried to be a nightclub more than a strip club; focused more on looks than on curves.

So with that perception about the club was low down on my priority list. However, with some time to club the night before the 4th of July, and seeing a billboard for the past couple of weeks saying they would be open to 8am on the night of July 3rd I decided to give it a shot. I went in with no expectations and not much money, as this was not the focus of my clubbing & I didn't expect to spend much. Short story short, I was pleasantly surprised and I will be back.

I arrived a little after 11pm. There is valet parking & self parking beyond that in front of the other stores that are closed at that time of night. All those areas say no parking & tow away zone, but that is in fact where you are supposed to park at night. 10.00 admission. 10.00 for a beer, which I don't like, as I really don't even want the beer. 10.00 is a nightclub price, not a strip club price. Upon entrance, it is by far the nicest club that I've seen, and does feel much like a night club.
