Upscale, No Diversity

Rachel's is the type of SC most establishments want to be. Very upscale, very high net worth clientele and/or traveling businessmen on expense accounts, very pretty girls. A description of Rachel's begins in the parking lot. There are no work trucks, only expensive cars. The club is in the northern reaches of Palm Beach county, outside of my typical SC range, but I had to pick up people at PBI and their flight was delayed about 2 hrs. Instead of waiting in the airport bar, I figured I'd kill some time at Rachel's. Physically, Rachel's is likely the nicest SC facility in SFL. It is large, wide open with high ceilings, and good ventilation. No SC stank.

Upon entering, the very clean bathrooms are to your left, and a long, linear stage extends east - west in the center of the main floor. There are long bars lining the north and south walls running parallel to the stage. There is also a smaller satellite stage to the left, but was not being used this afternoon. There is an upstairs with two stairways, but also not in use. The DJ is upstairs to the right. There was plenty of available seating at both bars and at tables on the main floor. No cover at 3 pm, and no cost to self Park. Not sure what valet cost. I paid $7.50 for a beer, but received 2 4 1 as it was Happy Hour. There were maybe 12 or so girls working. All white girls or European. Only one Latina, no AA, no Asian girls. All girls were very pretty (if a little too skinny).

This place definitely has a type, and no diversity. I'd say most were 7/8, with at least one 9/10, and they all wore long dresses. The girls all seemed to emit a somewhat cold and distant vibe, and they mostly catered to tables of well dressed businessmen who were likely spending on expense accounts. I received no hustle for dances, and I found myself actually watching the stage show (which is odd for SFL). There were a couple of very athletic girls who performed impressive pole acrobatics (but this is a strip club not cirque du soleil, so these skills are somewhat lost on me). Just when I decided this was a look but don't touch kind of place, I was approached by the only Latina in the place. I must have giving off my "me gusta Latina" vibe. She was a beautiful green eyed Colombian with the type of body and looks that could cause me to make bad decisions. It turns out she was also an incredibly sweet person to talk to.
