Not worth bothering with

For whatever reason, I've been on a bit of a sketchy club kick of late. The Rose, formerly and also known as Flash certainly fits that bill. I stopped coming here a while back, there was a strong presence of drug dealers and many of the girls seemed to be drug addicts. Not just a little weed, but the kind of drug activity that made me uncomfortable and gave me health concerns about the girls. After a few year break, I tried again to find they had resolved the drug dealer issues but the girls were all old and fat, and the prices had literally doubled. So I again took it out of rotation. A few more years later, and I stopped in on a Friday afternoon to find a club that was somewhat similar to what I remembered from years ago. I went back a 2nd time I think 2 weeks later on a Saturday afternoon.

As far as pricing goes, there was no charge to park, no valet available, no ID scanning. $5 cover during the day, I'm not sure what it is at night. Beers were I think $6, I didn't buy any cocktails. I think dances are $25, but I honestly didn't get any on either visit so I'm not sure. Two girls quoted me $275-350 for a 30 minute room, but I didn't bite. Normally I wouldn't submit a review without at least getting a dance, but this place doesn't get a lot of reviews so I figure something is better than nothing. They'd remodeled since last time I was here, slightly. They now have stages on both sides of the club with a bar in the middle. They got rid of most of the free standing tables and the seating is mostly bars, high top tables around the edge, some sections for bottle service, and a few tables. It's pretty dark and still very dirty. I'm pretty sure the same urinal is broken and covered with a trash bag from 5 years ago. The bathroom guy is the same though, and he recognized me from years ago. The music one day was loud, like uncomfortable loud and it caused me to leave. It was loud enough were I would have left even if there were hot girls there who would blow me for free. That was one day though, the other day it was normal strip club loud. Tolerable at least. The music was mostly Spanish/Cuban shit.

The girls, they were pretty bad. I'd say about 10-15 girls on both visits. Average about a 4 or 5. One 6, and one 7.5 who was bringing up the average. Mostly Latina's, I saw two black girls. That was a change, and in line with the music. A few girls came up and approached with the typical Cuban girl lines. I played along and said no thanks at the appropriate time. The girls did a rotation of two songs on one side of the club, then moved over to the other club for one more song. There was only one girl at a time though, so one of the stages was always empty. At some points both stages were empty. There wasn't much effort in dancing, nudity levels varied. Some girls took off nothing, some got topless or at least pulled aside their tops, a few got totally nude. Girls were also hit or miss with interactivity with tippers. I'm pretty sure one dude finger blasted a fat chick for like $3, another girl completely ignored a dude who tried to tip. Both days I went and tipped the same girl, the 7.5. Both days I gave her $10, both days I was the only one who tipped her. Both days she came over and said thank you. The first day I tried to talk to her and she simply walked away and left me talking to myself. She went back to the bar with her friends and I think was video chatting with some dude. The second day I literally asked her to sit with me as I tipped and again as she came by to say thanks. She said okay, she'll be right back. But, she went and sat with her friends and after I finished my beer I left.
