Why are washrooms and coat check on the 3rd floor?...
Arrived at 1:40 am and the door guy said the cover was $25 with 2 drink coupons. Paid the damage and proceed to the club upstairs --- as opposed to the Bar in the basement - 60 Euro for all you can drink as described in previous reviews. Headed up to the 2nd floor along a winding stair case. As you enter and have a coat on, the bouncer makes you check it and it's up another set of winding stairs on the 3rd floor. Who designs a club to have the washrooms and coat check on the top floor of the club?
Anyways, as I approach the bar directly in front of the entrance, a Eastern European broad (about a 6.5 with an okay body) tries to sink her teeth into me, but I'm not biting. She says the club is about to close and that we should get more comfortable in a private room for 130 EUROs or 35 EUROs for a dance in public. I politely decline to both and she seems annoyed, but moves on. I eventually find a seat on the right of the club and sit down in front of a stripper pole and realize the whole place is not bigger than 1000 sq ft including the bar and seating and ripper poles on both sides of the bar. Nobody else comes by to introduce themselves while I'm downing my 2nd beer, but it's better this way since I have realized that the rippers are definitely not worth it in Amsterdam.
