more expensive than expected

I went to the club a few weeks ago on a Tuesday night because I’d heard about the $5 dances. I got there around 9pm and it was pretty packed throughout the club. Dancers were consistently rotating through the three stages. I think the middle stage had two dancers on it if I remember correctly.

Even though it was crowded, I was able to find a seat. There are extra seats around tables, so you may have to ask people if they mind you using an extra seat at their table or just try sitting there.

I watched the dancers for a while and waited for the ones I was interested in to leave the stage. Several already had dances lined up by the time and said I’d have to wait a little bit. All three dancers I asked said they didn’t do $5 dances, but would do topless for $10 or nude for $20.

I got a little annoyed and decided to leave. It wasn’t an unreasonable price, but it was not what was advertised, so I was disappointed.

It’s a nice club. The interior is nice, and the dancers were attractive. I may return again some time now that I know what to expect.
