Not a tourist trap

After reading all the reviews, it seemed like Bare Assets was the sole place in town to try out. I visited early evening on a weeknight. Paid no cover and walked into a relatively quiet club. Was able to partake in 2 for 1 domestic beers, which was nice. Club was on the cleaner side with a bar along one wall and a stage down the middle. Attendees seemed mixed between regulars and visitors.

The club offered a diverse mix of dancers. A range of ethnicities, shapes and sizes. I enjoyed a few private dances (can't recall exact cost) in a curtained off area. The ladies were not at all pushy but seemed pretty friendly. It seemed like in that regard they retained a relaxed Key West attitude.

Based on reviews of other clubs, it seemed like there are a few tourist trap venues in the area. I found this club to be a relaxed, low pressure place to grab a beer inconspicuously while enjoying the sights. Is it of the quality of a South Florida club? No. But for Key West, it wasn't too shabby.
