I was staying up in N Houston and thought I'd give XTC a try. I have been to the XTC in Austin and had a good time there. Unfortunately this club only shares a name with the Austin one, everything else was terrible. I saw that Monday there was only a $5 cover and $5 VIP. When I went to the location I was surprised to see it in the middle of a strip mall. There was a bouncer sitting out front that pats you down. The front door lady was a hot blonde chick. I was excited to see that she was real cute. When I walked in around 11pm there were about 8 patrons and 6 dancers. There 3 Hispanic girls and 3 black girls. There was only 1 girl I was only remotely interested in but she didn't seem to be working the room very well. I ended up getting a dance from the second best girl. She had a good body but just wasn't my type. We went back to the "VIP" area. Which it was just the lap dance area in most clubs. I don't know why it would be called VIP. It was a room in the back that was well lit and open with very little privacy. I got one dance which was $20 for a nude dance. Great value but the dance was lackluster in the least. The girl was not interested in it. She barely sat in my lap. It was more her dancing in front of me. I hung around the club for a bit hoping more girls would come in as more patrons came in. By the time I left around 1am the club was pretty full with the same 6 girls. The girls seemed to get good money on stage but weren't doing much by way of lap dances. Overall I won't be back but only spent $36 while I was there so not a big deal.
