Best days gone?

Last I was here was back in October. That amazing bartender was working - slim brunette, long straight hair - gorgeous, but she eclipsed all the dancers. What was fun, though, was that Star was back. A remnant of the past! She's had a rough time over the years, but she's kept a positive attitude. I admire her moxie, and we had a long chat. Apparently she has been working out west. And even though she must be in her 40s now, she was clearly the most attractive gal there (and fun!). So I have to ask - has anyone been there recently? Last summer, days were better than nights, which was odd. What is the best time to go now? Is it worth the drive down from the city?
