Another trip, another club
Oy with the business trips already, right? Well, that's my life now, and I'm enjoying the travel, so I've decided I need to visit at least one new club every week or two during my travels. This time it was Electric Blue just outside Hartford CT.
I arrived two days after a significant snowstorm, so after turning off the main highway, I saw the side of the building with the Electric Blue signs (in electric blue, even!) and went cruising right on past the parking lot entrance. Drat! I ended up turning around at the gas station about 30 yards up the road, as well as visiting the ATM there to avoid the ridiculous fees that club machines charge. Then, a short drive back down 30 yards of road, into a parking lot that needs resurfacing moreso than the road area. Not uncommon in areas that get regular snowfalls in the winter, so I'm not counting it against the club, but if it's the same condition on a return visit, it will get factored in.
Enter the club, and the "checkin" stand is immediately on your right. I paid my $10 cover and went down the short hallway towards the bar and stage area, and before I could get a beer, was intercepted by a latina with bolt-ons who introduced me to all the other dancers as her boyfriend. While I am generally amused by the concept of dating a stripper, I hadn't yet gotten boyfriend privileges, so I objected to that title, but in a way she could tell I was just giving her a hard time about it and not actually offended.
