Solid club, you won't find better in DC. Beautiful dancers, laid back, safe club.

Besides Camelot, most other clubs in DC disappoint me. As others mention, Arichibald's is nearby and can be just as good some days. Of course, DC's laws allow nude dancing but absolutely no physical contact. The way I rate it, with no LDs, clubs can compete four areas: dancer quality, club physical condition, service and prices, with dancer quality being the most important. With no contact, mileage = 0.

1. Dancers at Camelot are usually hot. Since dancer quality asks us to rate beauty and friendliness, I rated these dancers at 7 but that would probably be about 8.5 for physical appearance and 6 for friendliness. Friendliness is not a Camelot trademark nor is it at most DC clubs. The dancers, almost without exception, are hot, While they are polite when accepting tips on stage and at the tables after their set; I can't say they are friendly. They are mostly indifferent to customers. Too many tattoos too, but that's true everywhere.

2. Most DC SCs are physically pretty run down and in so-so locations. Camelot scores high in both. The interior is well maintained (although it looks pretty much the same as it did 5-8 years ago) and it’s in a good location. The only club that can compete is Mpire – down the block. Mpire is newer and I’d rate its décor higher but there are usually only a few dancers and not all measure up. So, Mpire is well below Camelot overall.
