Utah is a desert for more than one reason

Had some friends in from out of town a few weeks back and they were looking for some fun so in spite of the warnings about Utah club they still wanted to hit up a strip club. Walked in around 9 and I think there were maybe 3 customers and probably a good dozen dancers sitting along the back wall apparently on facebook on their phones. Most of the dancers were fairly attractive and young in their early-mid twenties. After paying the $7 entrance and basically the same price for a redbull we sat around the stage. Its basically a large room with a stage comprised of a large metal counter around it and some Costco office chairs around it and some couches around the walls. As soon as you enter a girl basically asks to sit by you and make some small talk until the waitress comes by to ask if you want to buy the lady a drink... Uh $10 for a soda in a fancy glass?? I could understand if it was champagne or something nice but hell, its a non-alcoholic club.

The dancers do a few songs with full bikini on and some girls will get down to pasties. Since most of the girls were new, like a maybe a few weeks to a few months working in stripping altogether there wasn't much in the way of pole acrobatics. The girls push somewhat hard for lap dances. $20 per song on the couches in the main room in full view of everyone, or $35 for VIP dances in the back. Too bad they don't have a package deal like maybe 4 for $100 or something since they are trying to do Vegas level pricing, but offer nothing even close. After getting bored of the stage show a few of us opted for some dances. You then have to go back up to the front and pay the fee directly to the house. If you want another dance, you have to stop, go back up, pay again, etc. Total buzzkill but I suppose the house wants to make sure it gets its cut first. The girl at the front has a big sheet keeping tally of the dancers, how many dances sold, drinks bought, etc.

Overall we had a nice time, I would definitely recommend grabbing a cheap southwest flight to Vegas or Phoenix if someone really has an itch they need scratched.
