Christmas Eve fun

Was only in town for the weekend. Heard Gold Club had a fried chicken buffet, which seemed delightfully tacky so maybe this was the place to be. Wrong. Not for me, anyway. The DJ only played censored EDM remixes of pop and rap songs. Talk about a total vibe killer from the get go. The club overall had a way more fancy/polished of a look than I expected. Nothing wrong with that. Had the tallest pole I've ever seen at a strip club. Nothing wrong with that. The first beer I ordered, the drink girl disappeared with my money for 20 minutes. I had just written that beer/change off until she appeared and said "sorry!" without further explanation. It wasn't busy. The girls were cute, but kind of stuck up. There weren't enough guys in the crowd, so most girls didn't even bother taking their tops off on stage. Just climbed the comically large pole and spun back down. If I went here again, it'd be during the lunch buffet. At night it was just way too fake fancy and pretentious.
