It is what is. It's OK

This was my first trip to the Furnace, or anywhere in Birmingham. The location is weird, and was a little tough to find, out in a warehouse area, but with the gated parking lot, felt completely safe. As has been noted in other reviews, the club is very nice on the inside. Large high stage in the middle with comfortable chairs. Two smaller stages on either side. The bar is one side, couches for $20 lap dances on the other side. Upstairs has another bar and VIP rooms.

The quality of girls was fine, but not outstanding. Mostly 6-7's. I did $20 lap dances with 4 different girls, there is very little touching, and it's tough to say that it's worth $20, especially if you're used to Atlanta, where the $10 dances are better.

A few girls pushed for VIP, and though it was expensive I decided to give it a try. I did 15 mins with 2 different girls. The room fees were $50/15, $100/30 and $150/60. Girls charges varied, from $100/15 up to $200/15, and as much as $700/hour. (what??)

The VIP rooms were very nice, extremely comfortable couches, but there were cameras and it was not hard for a bouncer to look in (though that didn't happen). The mileage in VIP was much better than on the floor, definitely no extras available, but solid two way touching, and I was quite pleased.

Overall, the lack of mileage for lap dances and prices for VIP make it difficult for me to whole-heartedly recommend, but if you're in Birmingham anyway, it's certainly a very nice place.
