Can be a lot of fun, except when it's not...
I've been here several times over the last few years and this place seems to be very hit or miss lately, but at least it's pretty cheap. Located in desolate part of Brooklyn, you're either in for a long walk or have to take a car.
Once you've arrived there's not much to it. It's pretty dimly lit, with diamond plate steel, and mirrors all around. The layout is pretty typical of a new york dive bar. Long and narrow, bar on the right, and a few high top tables to the left and maybe two more tables at the far end of the bar. Also, the girls dance behind the bar which makes it hard to just have a beer if you don't want to constantly be tipping (usually 2-3 girls at a time behind the bar). There's a very small room in the back left corner with kind of a U shaped bench for lap dances ($20), which can be kind of weird if someone else is in there already in there.
Almost everything about this place; bar service, quality and friendliness of the girls, and general vibe, is a roll of the dice. I've been here and had a great time with groups, a friend or two, and even solo. I've also been yelled at and practically chased out the door by a, uh, larger girl who thought we didn't tip well enough. Lesson learned I guess. If you're sitting at the bar, you better be ready to shell out some cash for almost every girl. I've also had a great time just hanging out with a girl and drinking a couple beers (I'm buying, of course). Although I've probably had far more good than band experiences.
