Stopped in a couple of nights...

Stopped in a couple of nights ago during a visit to Portland. I was wandering around downtown and almost went to Cabaret, but the crack ho's outside put me off going in so I made my way down to Mary's Club. Small, dark & smoky, this place is a bit of a dive but the vibe is pretty friendly. I saw suits, thugs, college students and blue collars in the audience. I got there during a shift change so I saw 5 dancers -- they were all 5-6 in looks but 8-9 in attitude, and there was some talented pole work that night. Beer was cheap and the service was quick. There's no DJ, so the dancer's pick their own songs off a juke on stage. The downside to this is that some dancers took a long time picking their next song, but a tleast there was no annoying DJ chatter.
