I used the excuse of a feature dancer to stop by the Crazy Horse. A burlesque performer named Roxi D'Lite was scheduled to appear at 10:30 and 12:30. Since I've never seen anything happen on time at a strip club I arrived at 10:45 to find that I had missed her first show. Damn! Sat down in the rows of seats toward the back and perpendicular to the runway. On the upside you only get hustled for tip stage side, on the downside it feels like a constant barrage of 'Do you want a dance?' from the moment you walk in if you sit in the back. Maybe if you sit in the front, too. Either way, I wasn't interested in the girls who were approaching so I decided to take a walk and grab a drink instead of sitting in the theater until Roxi reappeared. Came back about an hour later, waited a few, then right on time again, ol' Roxi put on a show. Not a bad burlesque performance and, since it's a fully nude club, everything came off so best of best of both worlds.
Then came the boring bit. I only had my eye on 3-4 dancers out of the 25-30 girls there. Nothing against the other, most of them were cute enough, I was just in the mood for a dance from a certain type of lady. Unfortunately I didn't see any of my picks appear on stage and the ladies prowling the floor didn't do it for me (tends to happen, the dancers aggressively pursuing patrons for dances here tend to be of the lower ranking variety). Eventually I was bored enough to head back with a dancer who was cute, just not really what I had been looking for. $40 for topless dances in the main area with nice contact and on my way.
