Good for viewing, not for playing

I (30F) went with my fiance (32M) for the first time to this club - but not our first time to a club by any means - and were disappointed most of the evening. The girls are very pretty - a little lacking in diversity (mostly caucasian) and only one girl who I would remotely consider your token pudgy-one. Even then, she was still around a six in thinness standards. The DJ is fairly good, no real misses other than this odd "pick-your-lady" thing the do about every hour to try to mix things up and get lap dances going - for that he plays "Girls, Girls, Girls" every. single. time. Trying to mix it up was really nice - because the regulars run this place. No joke, we were there for about 3 hours and were approached by only two girls even after I (reminder - lady and not bad looking myself) went up to the stages to tip and touch a bit. The pricing for the whole thing makes me poor just thinking about it. The cover is $10 or so a person (can't quite remember), the drinks were $8 per glass of wine (that's all we had), and the dances were insane. 2 minutes for a private lap dance was $60, 10 minutes was $150, 30 minutes was $250. BUT! Little known fact: when they do the annoy "pick-your-lady" thing, they run an immediate 2-for-1 on the table dances, which are only $20. That is literally the only thing you can call a good deal here. But that's if you can get a girl to notice you. Like I said, the regulars run this club, and being an unfamiliar face and not in a large group of men definitely turned the girls away. For accounting purposes, there we about 20 patrons at any given time and about 20-25 girls, most of whom camped out for the duration of the evening. One other small thing to note, and I hate that I have to because it really shouldn't be the case: there was a larger gentleman (think Chris Christie sized) in the club who had a stack of bills, well kept, and was not in any way attempting to inappropriately touch or grab the girls. The dancers mostly ignored him, or tried to pawn him off on the more inexperienced ones (of which there were a few). I'm not saying the girls should have fawned over him, but he, like my fiance and I, were not their usual clientele, and they let us know. Bonus points to the bar staff for being awesome though! The barback felt my plight and helped me get the dancer my fiance and I had been pinning over since the beginning to come over to us - both the barback and the dancer were fantastic.
