Rip Off

The only reason I went to this place was that a dancer I knew at another club stopped showing up there and I heard that she is dancing at Taboo. I called the place in the afternoon and they confirmed that she would be there after 7PM. So I show up about 7:45 and the door is locked. Sign says there's a private party until 7:00. Found a bouncer and he said they'll open in 5 minutes. 15 min later they finally opened the doors. Well I stayed for almost two hours. My girl wasn't there. I'm positive whoever spoke to me on the phone just said she would be there without knowing one way or the other. The dollar parade was relentless - spent probably 70 - 80 bucks in singles. I ordered a steak and an hour later it still wasn't there. I'm certain the bartender just forgot about it. I would have reminded her if she ever came to bring me another beer, but she walked past about 10 times and never noticed the empty beer can all the way at the edge of the bar, and never made eye contact even though I was trying to get her attention for another beer. By the way, they charged $9.25 for a Guinness Draft in a can, and didn't give me a glass. You ever drink Guinness Draft from a can with the little ball rolling around inside? This place really has no class. The girls are very nice looking, but basically have no personality. If you're not tipping four of five bucks every time they shake their ass they don't want to know you. The worst part was the terrible service from the bar staff though. I won't be going back to this upscale dump. Better off taking your money to Titillations. The girls are much hotter and have good personalities, and the bar staff treats you like a customer, not like a fucking asshole.
