Thursday night visit

Clancy’s in Bloomfield, NJ turned out to be a solid spot for a laid-back Thursday night. I have reviewed this place many times and I continue to frequent it when I can as I think the value and talent are better currently than most other area clubs. Parking was easy - street parking was wide open tonight. From the outside, it looks like just a red door as there’s really no signs, but inside it has a relaxed, dimly lit vibe with a super small stage, a bar with decent seating, and a good amount of seating in the back which gets pretty much zero use. It wasn’t packed, which actually made it feel more comfortable - crowd was maybe half full, mostly guys winding down after work. I got there about 7pm and always feel a little weird knowing it’s in the middle of a residential neighborhood. But who cares :)

The entertainment was definitely the highlight. This night, I saw around 8 to 10 dancers, basically all of them Latina which isn’t anything new. They rotated smoothly between the stage and taking tips behind the bar. Most of them were friendly, flirty, and knew how to ask for dances without being pushy. The stage time is really nothing more than a chance to tip more generously and I like that you can take the girls right off for dances without needing to wait.

One dancer stood out from the rest for me. She was blonde, Brazilian, and her generous proportions were right for me. It’s easy to get attention here and I’m sort of becoming a regular face. On stage a gave her $5 and asked to take her to the back. The lap dance room is in the back on the left through a door. It’s got a set of reclining chairs which are comfortable but privacy there is entirely dependent on if anyone else is back there. I ended up getting 6 lap dances with her and they were good. Best in my opinion to tell them upfront you want a few and that you are looking for some fun. Most will accommodate. She was very attentive and made sure it felt personal and unhurried. By that I mean she let me roam up top and a bit down below and she wasn’t shy to make sure I got attended to. Maybe I’m a familiar face but she wasn’t shy about HOP and the grind and hand combo was great.
