One visit was enough
I eat lunch at Acropolis every time I'm in Portland and usually go to Casa Diablo in the evening. I also drive through the parking lot of Diablo II and wonder if they're even open. On Tuesday of this week I didn't finish work until a little later, so I left Acropolis around 5 PM and drove through Diablo's lot. There were about 8 cars in the parking lot, so I figured a few patrons were inside.
Upon entering, it quickly became apparent that I was the only patron. Nevertheless, I ordered a double bourbon and sat at the bar waiting for the stage show to start. A typical "Portland" dancer with lots of tattoos and a little pudge came on stage. I walked over and tipped $12 during her two-song set and that was enough time to finish my swill. I was hoping the dancer would at least give me a little attention for being the only patron and tipping while at the stage, but she just seemed irritated that she had to be there. Upon finishing her set, she immediately picked up her cell phone and buried her nose into it without so much as thanking me for the tips. No need to come back to this depressing place.
