WTF Is Wrong With The Door Bouncer???

People who read my reviews know I'm generally very favorable to this club to the point that I've even been accused of shilling for it. I admit I've been going for 20 years, and I know most of the staff as they know me. Well, I stopped by yesterday afternoon wearing a very nice Cubs golf shirt and my designer cotton pants that I wear on stage sometimes. This complete moron at the door thought my pants were "inappropriate" because it was "gym wear"! These are not thin pants; they are a normal cotton blend. Well, this asshole was dressed like a bum himself! But no, he wouldn't let me in!

I always drop several hundred bucks, and in the afternoon the place is fairly empty as it is. But he didn't like my looks I guess, or he was a Sox fan. I politely left, but in retrospect I should have demanded to see Michael (the owner) and try to get this guy fired. I know how to dress for HB as I've been going there for so long but this guy was completely clueless. I was both insulted and humiliated. Anyone going to this club better bring a few changes of clothes.

I went home and returned for the night shif when he fortunately wasn't still there, and mentioned what happened to some of the staff. They were equally appalled. I like the club a lot, but since they don't seem to like me, perhaps I should be taking my business elsewhere in the future. I didn't get this moron's name (my mistake) but if anyone reading this works there, this was Thursday, Aug. 25th at about 4 PM. Fire this guy before he drives away the few daytime customers you still have.
