Monday, Monday

Another drive on I-95, another stop at Wackos. I read a few reviews that indicated the talent level had dropped, or that the action was lessened somewhat. In my experience, that is simply -not true. I pulled off I-95 a little before 2:00pm on a blistering hot Monday afternoon after several hours of driving and several hours of driving left. When driving through Jax I often take a break, and the Doll House (nude, juice bar) or Wackos (bikini, full bar) are my current preferences. Wackos is easier to get to, there is no cover, and beer is always two for $4 before about 7:00pm. (whiskey and mixed drinks range from $6 for a solid pour to $12 for fancies).

This visit it took a little longer than normal for my eyes to adjust to the dim interior, but when I could finally see the club was not crowded, There were only about 25 customers and 20 to 30 cancers. As is common at Wackos, there were a couple of chunky dancers, one or two apparently in their 40s, a few with lots of tats, a small number of Hispanics, three Blacks, some women who look a bit funky, and about five hot white chicks. The DJ was calling a rotation of one song per stage, and the dancers were moving through the stages and the club.

Several dancers approached me as I sat at the bar, either just to thank me for my $1 tip at the stage or to ask if I wanted company. None of them were rude or pushy and none of them used any version of the line, "Wanna dance?" Eventually I invited one very tall, lean, lightly tatted, natural "B" cup brunette to Join me. We talked for a few minutes, she excused herself to, "freshen up." I thought that would be the last I saw of her, but she returned promptly with a whispered, "I really had to pee" and we resumed to our conversation. This dancer, "J," said she had been at Wackos for about 6 months but had just gotten a civi job and would only work at the club a few days a month, "for fun," after she started her new job in a week.
