Second meh visit

I headed for the Crazy Horse thinking that it would be a quick place to grab a regular lapdance. Didn't quite work out that way. Cover was $31. Apparently there was a feature dancer there which drove up the price, but I didn't see her. Grabbed a seat near the stage but not front row. Dancers are quick to pounce and immediately try to sell you on a dance so be prepared to fend them off as soon as you walk in. I politely declined the dance offers as no one who approached really struck my fancy until a petite asian girl (cannot recall her name) enticed me to head back and led me toward the $140 private show area. When I told her that I was only looking for a regular lap dance she said she didn't do those so we parted ways. First time I've encountered that. I would have figured some money is better than no money especially since topless dances cost $40. I later bought two topless dances from another girl ($80 for what? 6 mins) where the pay per minute works out better than the private area, unless you're upselling once you get the customer back there. Glad that I wasn't up for the private show. If a dancer can't spend 3 minutes in the regular room, showing me that she's worth spending more cash on, why would I take the blind gamble? I returned to the stage and tipped more than decently to the only two dancers who really did anything for me. Generally you put your tip on the stage, they work their way over and give an up close shake or two, maybe even drop down into your lap for a moment. One did, but the one I was really hoping to grab a dance from scooped up the cash and moved along without even a glance my way. I was done being stage-side at that point and moved back a couple rows. Eventually one of the girls I had turned down initially came by to checkup on me and I agreed to a visit to the couch dance room as mentioned. Decent dance, nothing memorable. Left missing the mid-tier east coast clubs where you can pop in, see some cute girls of about the same quality as the CH, grab a beer, see some boobs, get a dance, and head out all before spending $100.
