I had given a mild thumbs up recently to RR, so felt it right to update -- and in some ways, this is not just true about RR, but Block in general,

The relatively high level of decent looking girls seems over as soon as it began. And it's not the usual ebb and flow on the Block. Talking to a few managers and girls, it's clear the block as an institution is undergoing a fundamental change, for at least two reasons: 1) First, there's clearly some fear on going down to that area of the city after the riots of last year; while 2) there's an undercurrent of gang activity in the area. While the block itself is fine, it's much more nerve wracking to walk even a block or so outside to park.

This is impacting every bar, including Red Room. The relatively good lookers that were there in the spring are gone, with the exception of some older girls who have major drug or attitude problems. The last two times I went, on prime nights, there wasn't a single girl I would want to F -- For Free, much less pay for a lap dance or VIP. Red Room is caught in the cycle of only harder core girls working there, which reduces foot traffic and customers, which of course means fewer attractive girls...and on and on.
