One Girl Is All It Takes
Didn't make it out to Dean's on Wednesday, so I went last night (Thursday). Paid the 5 to park and the 15 cover. I'm philosophically opposed to paying to park my own car, but it's only $5 so whatever. The cover is also a bit higher than I'm used to from mixed clubs not named Scarlett's, but what can you do. There seems to be a VIP type side to the left, but it was mostly closed off. There really wasn't anyone over there, except later in the night when some girls went over there to check their phones and all. It has sofas and couches and booths, though. There's also a stage and a bar. Looks like the nicer of the two sides.
The 'regular' side is on the right. Three stages, three bars...one of which is called a VIP bar. Apparently they serve higher-grade alcohol up there, as the signs say that drinks up there are $12. Lots of tables and such: it's set up kind-of like Vegas with so many little tables. Main stage has two poles, the satellite stage in the back has one, but I don't think the one closest to the VIP bar has one. Lots of TVs...and the place has a few VIP areas, some of which are really well hidden. Music was Tootsies type club music.
So, the girls...based on looks, I'd rate the majority as 8s. Most were Latina, with a few white girls and some AA girls. The first thing I noticed was that many of them wear dresses. I don't like this because it gets a bit confusing as to whether they're dancers or patrons (there were a few female patrons last night). The second thing I noticed was that a lot of them were tall. Even when accounting for the 6-8 inch heels, they still were the tallest set of dancers on average that I've seen at a SC. Most of them were tall and thin. The reason the quality rating is a 7 is that most of them just sat around all night: I think a previous reviewer mentioned that. They were just sitting there waiting to be approached/chosen like the girls at the one place in Mexico in La Bamba.
