The hard sell

Never been here before, so I decided to give it a try. Went in a little before 8. Parking lot was nearly empty. As I walked in, the guy at the door told me there was no cover, which was nice. Maybe 3 other customers, and 5 dancers. Almost immediately, a dancer took me by the arm and offered to give me a free tour. This set off warning signs in my head, but I decided to go with it. As she directed me to the back, she picked up another dancer along the way, and led me to their VIP area. There, the two of them double teamed me with the hard sell. This club is different than other clubs, they assured me. I could get lap dances on the floor, but all of the action was back here in VIP. Only $100 for the room, which goes to the house, and then whatever I felt like paying the dancers for their time. After I asked a couple of different times, they told me that they expected tipping to start at $250 per girl, and go up from there. Not in the club for more than 5 minutes, and they were already asking me for $600+. I declined, and took a seat by the stage.

The club itself is fairly nice, probably because it is new. The stage is kind of a lop-sided figure eight, probably meant to look like breasts. The music was at a good volume; loud enough to dance to, but not so overwhelming that you could not have a conversation. All of the tables were around the stage, with a raised platform towards the front of the club for VIP table dances. Dances were $10 on the floor, $25 in the raised section.

All of the girls were in their 20s, and all were brunette. Four white girls and a Hispanic girl. A lot of tattoos, but no other enhancements that I could see. All of the girls were attractive, but none really stood out. The ones I spoke to were all fairly nice, but they all had various forms of the VIP upsell. The stage rotation was uneven; it seemed like each girl danced for 2 songs, and then there were 1-3 songs where the stage was empty before the next girl began to dance.

I didn't really see anyone that struck me, and the hard sell was bothering me, so I left after about 20 minutes without getting a dance
