Just OK

I travel to Portland a lot, but I really can't say I'm super fond of the strip clubs here. There are a lot of them but most end up being sort of a neighbourhood bar with dancers rather than a strip club. DV8 is definitely one of those, so only come here if you enjoy the neighbourhood bar feel.

The drinks are very reasonably priced for a strip club and there was no cover when I went, so that is a bonus. There is food, if you are the type to eat food at a strip club. If you are, you're braver than me. I'm never very pleased with the quality of the dancers here (or in Portland in general). Even when you find a really hot one, she'll end up so covered in tattoos and piercings that it hardly seems worth it.

I was here on a weekday evening. Girls were doing two song sets. Most were fun enough at the pole to consider a private dance with (despite the aforementioned tattoos and piercings). I got a few private dances from two of the girls (one tall skinny AA, one plumpish blonde). I don't remember the rate, I gave them each $100 and that included some amount of tip. Both featured OK two way contact (which you are not guaranteed in Portland) and both girls were friendly, I just had an overall "meh" feeling about the night and went back to my hotel early.
