An hour to waste
I have to admit that I am not a fan of California clubs., so I usually don't bother. If there is alcohol the dancers have to stay several feet away when on stage. No alcohol means close dancers, but no alcohol. However, I was in the area a few minutes after opening and found myself with an hour to wait before an appointment, so I stopped in. Have to say, I was impressed. Even though I was the only customer, they immediately started the show. It didn't seem to matter if I watched, they were in full open for business mode.
Several dancers approached me for private dances and didn't seem put off when I indicated I wanted to relax for a few minutes first. The stage show was entertaining and as the only person there, I got more than my fair share of attention, which also worked it's way to the back for a few private dances. Not overly thrilled by the private dance setting, which consisted of a large number of small, dark booths, I think another review referred to them as coffins, where you put your 20 in the machine and get a green light. When the red light comes on, dance is over. Very controlled and tightly timed. With that said, all three girls I had private dances with were talented and energetic, making the most of the limited area.
All in all, a very enjoyable hour.
