Block-in Block-out

I've been to the block a few times in my career but never during afternoon. Me and a buddy decided to swing by after a horrible morning of golf. Stopped by Jewel Box downstairs around noon and was told the girls would start showing up soon. Decided to go to the upstairs and there were 2 dancers changing into their outfits. Was told by the gentleman behind the bar they would start dancing soon. We decided to wait, grabbed a brew (which I thought was at a decent price $3) and waited......

The decor wasn't horrible, similar to other spots on the block. The beer was cold, the guy behind the bar was cool and the girls were friendly while they were getting ready to dance. I'll admit we got there a little early so kinda felt like the creep for a minute.

After the girls did their sets they both came around the bar and hung out. I was hoping they wouldn't hit us with the normal block routine of asking us to buy the expensive drinks $45+...but about 10 minutes in they did. It was noon, I wasn't drunk, and wasn't ready to spend that to continue a conversation. We left soon after and made our rounds up the block.
