Waste of time

Stopped in around midnight on a Saturday. Three customers (counting myself), four dancers, a bartender and a bouncer. Dancer #1 was a skinny AA. This is the only dancer that approached me at all, and was friendly enough, but not really my cup of tea. Dancer #2 was another skinny AA; she stuck with the same customer throughout, though I only saw a couple of dances. She vanished into the back when he got bored and left. Dancer #3 was a heavy set white girl with lots of tattoos - she disappeared into the back as soon as I arrived, never to be seen again. Dancer #4 was a fairly pretty white girl with a short bob haircut. She spent literally the entire time staring at her phone. I never saw her speak to anyone or even look up once except to guffaw loudly at some facebook post or text or whatever she was engrossed in. At one point the only people out front were the bartender, the bouncer, cell phone girl, and myself. Every single person in the place was on their cell phone. Everyone else was in the back, or had given up and gone home. I finished my first beer, waited about 10 minutes to catch the bartender's eye and ordered another. After 3 songs and no dancers out front (except for cell phone girl) I gave up and left without finishing my 2nd beer. Would have probably gotten dances from cell phone girl, if she could have at least pretended to be interested. Must have been busy earlier in the night because all the girls apparently made enough money for the day and were just hanging out until close. I think I spent more time talking to the bouncer than to any of the girls. The club looks nice enough, good TV set up (so there was SOMETHING to watch, though not what I was looking for in a strip club). The VIP area isn't terribly private, with just a curtain blocking off part of the main floor. This isn't really a problem because none of the girls want to dance anyway. The neighborhood is questionable, but I felt safe enough for a titty bar.
