Club could use a makeover
I brought some out of town clients to Hustler Club on Tuesday night around 11. Around 25 girls working, seemed like fewer customers than dancers at that point in the night. Service at the bar was prompt & drinks were the price I'd expect them to be for mid to top shelf liquor, about on par with most bars in SF these days. The dancers are pretty (a few absolute knockouts) and for the most part friendly. Most seemed on the young side, like college age. Where this club seriously needs to improve is the decor and maintenance. My clients were pretty put off by the state of disrepair the place is in. We are accustomed to a much cleaner, more luxurious environment at gentlemen's clubs in this price range. The front entrance that looked like it had been gutted, filthy carpeting, rips and tears in the upholstery, scuff marks and scratches on the mirrors. With their prices, this club must be raking in thousands a night; there is no reason such a club should be so dirty and squalid with cheap, tacky design features stuck in the nineties. If this place was half as clean and well-maintained as the Gold Club, I'd bring people here all the time. If the owners continue to let it deteriorate, the quality of the clientele will go down, no matter how good the talent is.
