Daisy Dooks review

Daisy Dooks is one of several strip clubs around the quad cities between Iowa and Illinois. DD sits in the Iowa part in the city of Davenport where there are two other clubs, of which I've only tried DD. It's right off the freeway (I-80) and maybe a mile at most down Northwest Blvd, you have reached Daisy Dooks. The parking lot is fairly spacious and somewhat decently lit. I think it costs $10 or so to get in or $15 depending on the day/time, but I barely made it there before the club was open one hour (the first hour the club is open the cover is free) so I didn't pay anything.

Inside the club looks kind of like a remade warehouse, quite expansive with high ceilings. There are two levels with two stages, although the main stage (which is huge) is on the lower level. There are probably over 50 seats just around the main stage which has three sections and two poles. There is also additional seating and tables for about 50 on the main floor. It's fairly clean, but nothing very fancy. It's BYOB, so there are no servers bothering you for drinks, but if you want anything to drink, you're also on your own. There are quite a few large screen monitors displaying various sports games/events, with one large projector screen in the corner, so I guess the club is catering to that crowd, which also seems to skew younger. For reference, Southern Comfort, the other decent club in this area (don't know much about Tuxedos, but I heard it's not too good) tends to skew a bit older. Which strikes me as a little strange, since the younger guys don't tend to have or spend as much money as the older ones, and DD is definitely the more expensive club.

I went on a Tuesday which is one of the better value (if not the best value) days to go there (Monday being the other one). Tuesdays feature 2 for 1 premium dances. So a 3 or 3 1/2 minute private dance mostly topless with just flashing nudity will normally cost $40(!), but on Tuesdays you'll get a second one free (although tipping is often heavily solicited). Also the 15 minute, 30 minute and 60 minute dances in the VIP are doubled in time for the same amount of money, i think they're $175, $300 and $500 for half an hour, an hour and two hours respectively. Which is alright for what you get: decent contact (ass and booby touching), with a little more nudity than the individual dances.
