Overly posh, not for everyone!
I was visiting friends in Reno and we decided to check out the Men's Club. I personally like my strip clubs a little down and dirty, and this is not that. It's actually really quite nice inside, with a smaller bar when you enter and a larger main room at the back. Both have stages setup for dances and full bars with waitress service. When we arrived the front was empty and we were seated in the main room, when we left a couple of hours later the front was also filling up. The decor is very Las Vegas - lots of fake marble pillars and velvet. Usually not my thing but actually quite nicely done in this case. Certainly felt completely safe (although my wallet didn't!). Drinks were on the expensive side, as was the cover, but service was with a smile.
There were a lot of dancers working, in fact when we first got there they outnumbered the clients. They were all very good looking, and spent most of their time hanging out in the bar area in cocktail dresses - it was quite the show just to watch. The problem is that was all they did - the stage shows were pretty dull and happened infrequently, with large amounts of time with nothing happening. For the first time in my life I had trouble getting a dancer's attention for a dance, they seemed more interested in hanging out with each other or talking with regulars. I did end up getting a lap dance from a lovely girl, it took place in a chair just to the side of the bar, not private at all but it was fun. Went to topless with a little contact. One of my friends got what he said was an excellent neck rub from a masseuse at the table. All in all a nice place to spend a few hours if you want to chat with your friends and have some drinks. Don't expect much action or even think about going alone - you'll be bored. Would probably make a great place for couples to visit.
