Not that long ago a friend told me he went to Diamond's on the advice of a cabbie. Right away I knew this wouldn't be good. Taxi's get a kickback fee for bring you there so they obviously do not have your best interest in mind. Although he left out details, probably due to his embarrassment, he basically said he got ripped off. I told him he should have asked me before he went and I could have easily convinced him to stay away. He admitted his ignorance but claimed to be conned into going there by the cabbie. It has been quite a while since I personally stepped inside Diamond's but once I left, I vowed never to come back. This club hasn't had a review in a long time so hopefully my review can help prevent others from being "conned".

I remember walking in and most of the dancers were lined up sitting up against the wall with hardly any customers in the building. The first person to approach wasn't even a dancer or bartender. It was a guy who asked me if I was interested in the VIP. If I not mistaken, I think he was holding a clipboard. I told him not right now and sat at the stage. A pretty brunette joined me and asked if I was interested in some dances. Although I don't remember the specifics, she quoted some outrageous fee (in the hundreds), none of which goes to the dancer. It was like a room fee or something just to get in the same room as the dancer of your choosing, then you negotiate dance or should I say "tip" prices. I thought it was just the hustle of this particular dancer until the next girl told me the same thing. Needless to say, something was clearly off, so thankfully I used the big head and I did not get any dances.

The one positive that I do remember was the quality of the dancers. In fact, one of dancers there that night ended up being one of my ATF. She was one of the dancers that first caught my attention even though we never spoke. Months later I saw her working at the Palomino, got some dances and eventually became a regular. I asked her about Diamonds and she said it is known as a VIP club and admitted it was a rip off place that preyed on tourist who don't know any better. She did mention that she gave similar dances at Diamonds like she did at the Palomino which were VHM. So I'm not saying it is impossible to have fun there but why would anyone pay outrageous room fees to the club before you even get to the dance prices. Seriously, just stay away.
