After reading the last review about a possible change from bikinis to pasties, I decided to try Gold Club again. The rumor (as expected) was not true. Anyway, there were a good number of dancers working that night, and most were very attractive. A few exceptions of course. I sat at the bar most of the time, and only one or two girls approached me all evening. I took up one offer of a “private” dance in one of the very exposed dance rooms. She worked hard and allowed touching, but strictly complied with the bikini stays on rule, as it appeared all of the dancers did. I saw no one flashing any boob at all. Tipping on stage is somewhat difficult here because of the layout. I did approach a good number of dancers with tips. About half responded very favorably, but others barely smiled. Oh well.

I wanted to try the Pony again, but with no reviews since October I was a little concerned and did not make the effort. Memphis is still not a good club town. I see that 3 new clubs have opened, but only 1 review for each. someone needs to open a club outside of Shelby County to avoid the strict bikini ordinance.
