I finally visited Treasures tonight (3/18)...

I finally visited Treasures tonight (3/18) for the first time. After all the hype I had read here, I was expecting to be blown away. Initially, I was not. I went in with a friend at about 6:30. Cover was $5 each. As stated by others here, this club is darker than most. We found a table not too far from the stage and waited for a waitress. And we waited some more. One finally showed up to take our order, but she was new and knew nothing about the menu or what kind of beer they had. We ordered wings, chips and Shiners. I will say that the wings were large, meaty, and tasty. Towards the end of our meal we watched as our waitress walked by and obviously left. When no one came to take her place, I walked up to the bar to order more beers, and found that happy hour had just ended and the beers were now $7.50 each. Finally, at least 20 minutes later, someone came over and cleared the dishes from our table. Also, during this time, there were pauses of two or three songs during which there were no dancers on stage, even though there had to be at least 30-40 girls in the place.

My friend had spotted a girl that he was interested in, but was having trouble getting her attention. We had just about decided to leave and go to Colorado where we usually have a pretty good time, when the girl he liked went up on stage. So he tipped her, asked her to join him, and we decided to wait a bit longer. Just as she showed up to sit with him, a sweet little Latin honey slid onto my chair next to me.
