you can do better

It was too early in the evening to hit SL, but I was bored. So, I decided to swing by DV first for a quick stop to see what the talent was like. I arrived at ~7.30 pm on a Saturday, and stayed until 8.30 pm. Net entry was $15 ($10 'cover' + $5 'drink fee') which is outrageous IMO all things considered. There were about 6 dancers on shift, all decent to good looking IMO (which is better than some other times I've stopped here.) I had a nice conversation with one dancer about the different club's shes worked at. (The one redeeming quality of this club is it seems like there is more chat-up/flirt to the sales pitch so you can 'hang out' with a dancer a bit more here before getting dinged on a dance or drink.) FWIW, I would have gotten a dancer with her if the LD situation at this club wasn't so F-ing lame. However, I declined any dances because the fully clothed LDs here just don't cut it for me.

I want to point out a few other thing I noticed. I think the DJ was saying the there were either $10 floor dances or $20 lap dances in the LD area. However, the dancers I talked to only discussed the $20 option. Given the rules here, a $10 dance would be a lot easier to stomach. The parking lot had several cars in it, but only like two other customers inside when I arrived. WTF? A group that included 2 female customers came in shortly after I arrived, which is always intriguing to me.
