friendly and fun but don't expect to be impressed

I'd been to 7th Heaven a couple times before; it is tucked away in a neighborhood corner of Conshohocken...you definitely won't stumble on it by accident...it had been awhile since I'd been there and I was going this time purely to see a dancer acquaintance who I knew was dancing there that day....I pulled into the decent-sized parking lot at about 2PM and the first thing I noticed was a beefy guy laid out on his back on the edge of the parking lot with a few guys standing over him....couldn't tell if he had been knocked out or fell out but it seemed like the guys around him were on his side and I figured it was best to mind my own business. I headed inside and into the small cramped bar that was very dimly lit; surprisingly at this hour the place was packed and it was a party atmosphere. A couple dancers on stage were laughing and kibbutzing with customers who were throwing dollars at them, the dancers pulling their G-strings away from their bodies, offering a free lapdance to anyone who could make a "pussy shot" with a wadded up bill. Sweeping my eyes around the room I saw a handful of dancers hanging out with guys around the bar; dancer quality ranged from 5 - 7. I ordered a beer and was pleased to be warmly greeted by my friend, who came up behind me....she is at least an 8. We spent quite a long time talking as the party swirled around us....everyone seemed in an ebullient mood. After a while my friend took me to the lapdance area; there are two options $20 for topless and $40 for nude. I've never been in the $40 area; the $20 area a fairly small alcove off to the side of the guy who collects for dances and monitors lapdance times....there are a few chairs in their so up to half a dozen customers could be in their.....it is not private and mostly visible to the collection guy. We chose the one chair that was out of his line of sight and my friend preceding to treat me to a nice hands-on (mutual) set of dances; but I noticed she now and then glanced toward the guy to see if he was watching. After three dances I had to go; it was fair mileage considering the situation (no doubt because she knew me) but nothing like what I have experienced with her at Club Atlantis. So there seem to be some enforced limits. All in all, 7th Heaven is friendly and fun, an enjoyable hang, as long as you don't expect great-looking dancers or exceptional lapdances.
